More Control over Guest 'Event Details' & 'Personal Itinerary' pages
These two pages are meant to be the best way for registered guests to review details for events they register for, but we have little to no access to edit them. It would be ideal if we could change the layout, descriptions, and such on these pages. Why it would be helpful to be able to edit the 'Event Details' page: • Our event banner images are designed for desktop and mobile layouts, but this page automatically crops our image to a new aspect ratio. We should be able to edit the layout of the tiles so the image takes up the whole screen or be able to upload a new image that better fits the area available. • It would be helpful to be able to add messages to this page. For instance, if the event's start time is updated, it could also be shared on this webpage. • The ability to remove links such as 'View personal itinerary' would be helpful in specific situations. Say an event doesn't have sub-events or ticket variations, so there are non tickets on the event. The 'View personal itinerary' link still appears on the 'Event Details' page, but it links to a page with no details. Why it would be helpful to edit the 'Personal Itinerary' page: • For our Homecoming Weekend, we post a lot of events that don't need registration and are open to everyone (20+ events). These events don't (and shouldn't) appear on the registration page, but we do need them on the schedule tab on the event page so the listed schedule, in fact, shows the complete schedule. Having the ability to adjust what appears in the personal itinerary and even the ability to edit this page to make it feel more in line with our brand would be a big improvement.
