Events

For those that are registering multiple people for an event, would it be possible to add an option to check a box that says everyone else's information is the same? I'm specifically thinking of the address... I have had some complaints about having to enter the same information a bunch of times. I think it would be really useful! Sometimes I have people registering 8 kids and they all have the same address. It can get complicated and redundant to copy over the same information 8 times.

We would like to see a timer feature on tickets that would prevent multiple people from attempting to register for the last few spots in an event simultaneously. We host a number of very exclusive/limited capacity sub-events each year and recently experienced a number of upset guests who all were under the impression that there were still tickets available (when really they were in multiple carts and just went to whoever checked out the fastest). If the sub-event tickets could be held for a certain amount of time before being allowed to be booked by another guest, that would be immensely helpful.

Here's what we are looking for in the payment export for events — 1) sortable/searchable by transaction date 2) list the transaction total along with the registration and gift portions separately 3) list the event name tied to the transaction

Punahou follows a very specific process when committing gifts to RE. Today that is achievable only through Database view. So they need a way to sync RSVP and registration fees(ticket payment) to Raiser's Edge.

We would want the capability to have a waitlist feature for events. Once the event exceeds capacity - we can waitlist individuals. Automatic waitlist : If any of the registered users cancel their registration, Waitlist #1 - gets an automatic confirmation email to the event (this is how an automatic waitlist works). Admins should have the ability to manually move users in the waitlist (For example - If waitlist #5 (Mr. John) is a donor, the admin should be able to manually assign waitlist #1 to Mr. John - so Mr. John can skip the queue) Manual Waitlist : Admins can see all waitlisted individuals and choose who to admit to the event Important - The alumni should not be able to see who are the others on the waitlist. If guests only bought 4 tickets or 6 tickets, I still wanted them to have $5.00 off each ticket. The discount code for total cart value using percentage is not a good workaround in this case either. It would be more useful to have a discount per ticket, not just the final price.
