Timer for tickets

We would like to see a timer feature on tickets that would prevent multiple people from attempting to register for the last few spots in an event simultaneously. We host a number of very exclusive/limited capacity sub-events each year and recently experienced a number of upset guests who all were under the impression that there were still tickets available (when really they were in multiple carts and just went to whoever checked out the fastest). If the sub-event tickets could be held for a certain amount of time before being allowed to be booked by another guest, that would be immensely helpful.

I agree. We had the timer option with NetCommunity. However, the problem with that timer was that it applied to the entire registration and became a problem for our larger multi-day events where users need a lot of time to go back and forth and review/make changes. So I'd like to see if a timer could be applied to only a sub event. Ha! I know that's asking a lot!
