Have a radius filter associated with location filter on mentorship

Currently, mentorship program picks mentor and mentee's location of their profile (current city). There are instances where a mentee's location is a small town 5-10 miles away from a bigger town (example, Chattanooga is a big city in tennessee around which (in a radius of 5-10 mile) there are a lot of smaller cities like collegedale, ooltewah, etc. Now, a mentee may have ooltewah as their city. But when they go to the mentorship module and uses the location filter, they would ideally like to see all the people who are from chattanooga greater area. But a lot of people who would have ooltewah, collegadale etc on their profile will not show up.
Is it possible to have a radius filter associated with the location filter (something like this exists on data studio)?

This is a big limitation of the filter. It loses a significant amount of functionality in the US because large cities often have small cities so close. You can drive 10 minutes from our university to 4 different cities. This makes it extremely difficult for a mentee to individually select each of the cities they want to check, as someone who lives 2 minutes outside of a major city likely has just as many connections as someone who lives in the city.
