Integrate Giving Pages with Event Pages for Reunions

These should integrate more seamlessly. Lots of schools must do reunion related giving programs. Ideas to integrate pages.
- When someone completes an event registration, we should be able to choose to redirect them to the coordinating giving page. This will allow people to see how far they are to the fundraising goal.
- It would be nice if you could turn on a fundraising page as a part of the event registration process that shows a little more content than the Gift Ticket option (like the progress to the fundraising goal) as a step during event registration.

Thank you for posting, Kelly Gendron! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific features or information would you like to see on the fundraising page during the event registration process?
- How important is it for the fundraising progress to be visible during the event registration, and why?
- Are there any specific metrics or data points you would like to track or display on the integrated pages?

Sahil Mallick I assume many private/independent schools, Colleges and Universities run reunion related fundraising initiatives. The point of the progress to goal bar on the fundraising page is supposed to help encourage people to donate (when they see how far or how close we are to the goal). If someone is registering for an event, but never sees this part of the fundraising page, what is the point of us setting it up - we should only use a gift ticket. Event pages and Fundraising pages have similar formats for set up and a similar finished look, so it seems strange to us that they don't integrate more seamlessly. For example, when someone is finished registering for an event, the button could say "Click here to give to the Class scholarship" and it takes them to the page.
In the gift ticket version (option) on the event pages- it only allows the pre-set language - "Would you like to add a gift", once you have selected your other event tickets. It would be better to be able to change that language, i.e., "Consider a contribution to the Class of 19XX Scholarship" and then list details etc. Also, when you use the gift ticket function, and connect it to the campaign, it does not then add it to the crowdfunding page as a gift, so gifts given through the gift ticket option on the event page now need to be manually entered onto the crowdfunding page.
Overall, I think your clients would benefit from better integration opportunities with these two features, that are often running simultaneously with each other. The goal is to get people to sign up and give with as little clicking around and signing in as possible.
