Ability to limit registration access to a sub-event by invitation list

We would like to be able to limit the registration for one sub-event among many by invitation list. For instance, on a Reunion weekend with many sub events open to all, make registration for a particular sub event (a Leadership Reception) open only to those on an invitation list.

We'd love to see the option to create invite-only sub-events within open events. We have a few private invite-only events that happen during Homecoming weekend that we'd like to keep as sub-events within the main HC event, but also need the ability to keep them invite-only.
